Metal Detecting Club
Est.1995
Introduction
The Milton Keynes Searchers metal detecting club has been in existence
for over twenty years now and through that time has seen many members
come and go. Some of course have stayed but one thing they have all had
in common was a love of history and metal detecting. And it is this one
thing that brings us together once a month to share our metal detecting
experiences with people with the same interest as you.
Vacancies
We now have a limited number of vacancies within the club. These will
be filled on a first come first served basis.
If we find ourselves in the position where the vacancies have been filled
we will add you to our waiting list until such time a position is vacant
or the club votes to amend the current membership numbers.
All you need to join is a genuine interest in Metal Detecting and History, a desire to put something into the club in order to get something out and a passion to promote our hobby in the best possible light. Oh, and membership to F.I.D, the Federation of Independant Detectorists! It costs £3 a year to join and the benefits include Public Liability Insurance. FID members are also generally accepted to be responsible detectorists.
The benefits?
Membership is £25 a year and renewable in February.
