LAVAL 2004!

After the French choir visited Boston in 2002, there was much excitement and anticipation for the first visit and repeat performance of Verdi Requiem, by Boston Choral Society, and members of La Lyre Saint Tugal & l'ensemble Volubilis:

An audience of 700 plus gave the soloists, choir and orchestra led by Annick Vert, a standing ovation of several minutes.

The welcome and hospitality of our hosts was first class. It was indeed a memorable visit not only for the singing which transcended all language barriers; but for the friendship and fellowship we share and shall know doubt renew when next we meet.
