showed up to the Screen Actors Guild Awards along with her
Hairspray co-stars, all of whom were nominated for an
award. |

For the
first time ever in her career, Amanda was interviewed live
on British TV by Richard and Judy, alongside Nikki Blonsky
and Zac Efron. The interview featured 3 short clips from
the film and Richard briefly interviewed Amanda
individually about her rise to fame on All That and The
Amanda Show. Amanda mentioned that after the film's
premiere in London the previous night she managed to be in
bed for 12! |

Just before
Amanda Bynes, Elijah Kelley, Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky
headed back to America to continue promoting Hairspray,
they stopped into the Channel 4 studios to chat with Steve
Jones. Amanda agreed with the rumour Elijah Kelley had
been cast as Sammy Davis Jr. in the movie version of the
stars life, saying he had better do it! Amanda was once
again praised for starting out as a child-star and yet
still remaining level-headed. When asked why she wasn't
shaving her head or doing other regrettable acts, she
replied, "Not yet!", before laughing and saying, "I hope
not." The cast danced out the remainder of the interview. |

2007:
Amanda attended the event with her fellow Hairspray cast
members and presented the last award of the evening with
Zac Efron and John Travolta.
2006:
Amanda appeared onstage with Anna Faris to present the
Breakthrough Performance award to Isla Fisher. |

Amanda Bynes
went shoe shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue on designer Isaac
Mizrahi's new celebrity talk show back in December of
2006, though the segment works just as well now having
been cast as Penny Pingleton in the movie adaptation of
"Hairspray" because Amanda talks about her desire to act
in play someday. |

Amanda accepted the award for Quit Your Day Job: Best
Guest Host along with Shia LaBeouf. She also presented an
Award to Ashlee Simpson. |

First
appearance on the new Tyra Banks talk show. Amanda
surprised her "biggest" fan and talked about the new
series of What I Like About You and her new movie "She's
The Man". |
LATE NIGHT WITH
CONAN O'BRIEN |
It was
Amanda's fist ever appearance on Late Night with Conan
O'Brien but luckily the usual story of how she got into
show business didn't occupy most of the conversation.
Amanda talked about how she wants to just dress down for
Halloween instead of being professionally made over to
look like Cher. Later her and Conan talked about their
love for breakfast cereal, something Amanda says she's
been eating a lot of since moving into her own apartment. |

It was
Amanda's fist ever appearance on The Late Show with David
Letterman so the usual chat about how she got into show
business started off the interview. Amanda was looking
gorgeous, sporting some blonde highlights for her trip to
New York. Amanda gave David an oil painting of him that
she had painted and in return Amanda received a beautiful
bouquet of flowers. |

CHOICE AWARDS |
2005:
Amanda's first Kids Choice Awards appearance without a
nomination. Instead she introduced Canadian rock group
'Simple Plan' alongside Nickelodeon's Devon Werkheiser
from "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.
